Sarah C. Cloud is the Managing Attorney at John K. Zaid & Associates, where she has dedicated her practice exclusively to personal injury law since becoming licensed in 2018. Joining the firm in 2019, her lifelong passion for justice — inspired by her mother’s work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate — drives her to zealously fight for every client she represents.
Biography
Sarah grew up in Pasadena, Texas as an only child, building a close relationship with her parents that continues to this day. As the daughter of a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), she witnessed firsthand how the judicial system can transform lives — instilling in her an enduring passion for helping others and fighting for what is just and right.
Sarah graduated Cum Laude in 2015 from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. During her time there she participated in mock trials, served as secretary of the Legal Studies Association, and earned certification as a mediator.
In 2018, Sarah graduated from South Texas College of Law-Houston and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year. At South Texas she earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Texas Trial and Appellate Procedure, was named to the Dean’s List, and competed as a varsity advocate at numerous mock trial competitions — bringing home a National Championship and a Best Opening Statement Award from the Sandra Day O’Connor Law and Science Mock Trial Competition.
After receiving her license in 2018, Sarah committed herself entirely to personal injury law — a focus she has maintained without exception ever since. In 2019, she joined John K. Zaid & Associates and has since risen to the role of Managing Attorney. In 2020 she was selected by the American Academy of Attorneys as a Top 40 Under 40 for Personal Injury Law. She believes every client deserves the best possible representation and handles each case professionally, sensibly, and with zealous advocacy.
