Noor Ismail is an Associate at John K. Zaid & Associates, a University of Houston Law Center graduate who brings a background in corporate transactional law to her personal injury practice, advocating for clients with care and precision.

Biography

Noor Ismail is a first-generation Palestinian American, with roots in Ein Karem, a small village on the outskirts of Jerusalem. Her family owns a Mediterranean restaurant in Houston that has become a long-standing staple in the community.

Noor earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Medicine & Society from the University of Houston, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 2022. She began her legal career in corporate law, spending two years handling contracts and transactional matters before transitioning into personal injury law.

Outside of work, Noor enjoys reading mystery novels, crafting, home decorating, and watching scary movies. She loves spontaneous travel — once flying to Alaska on a few hours’ notice to witness the Northern Lights — and she and her husband, Abdullah, enjoy choosing random remote destinations for weekend getaways. She also has a ragdoll cat named Simsim, who is spoiled endlessly by the entire family.
