Jerry W. Mason

Jerry W.Mason is a native of the Houston area having grown up in Galveston County. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Russian Studies from the University of Houston. After college, Jerry worked in financial services as a licensed stockbroker and investment advisor. He then became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer before returning to the University of Houston where he enrolled in the dual degree program and earned his law degree and MBA at the same time. While in law school, Jerry was active in leadership and extracurricular activities. He was a Senior Editor of the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law; Vice Chair for Finance of the Advocates, a student group that organized mock trial and moot court competitions; a student advisor to the Cougar Venture Fund, a venture capital fund run by the University; and a volunteer in the Law Center’s Consumer Law Clinic.

As an attorney, Jerry is dedicated to making sure his clients get every penny they deserve. He has zealously represented clients injured by the carelessness of others and workers who have been denied the pay they are owed by their employers. He genuinely cares about his clients and works hard to make sure justice is done.

In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, karaoke and poker. He is also a former semi-professional actor who has appeared in numerous plays, commercials and films and has also appeared on stage with the Houston Grand Opera.
