Arthur Rosas
Arthur M. Rosas, II, was born & raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He grew up in the
Ridglea area, Arthur graduated from Southwest High School where he played
baseball and golf. Afterwards he attended the University of Texas at
Arlington, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor Of Business Administration in
Management with a minor in Political Science. While at UTA, Mr. Rosas was
very active in student government affairs and played on the golf team.
During high school and college, Mr. Rosas had the first-rate opportunity to
work for two very distinct boutique plaintiff law firms specializing in accident
and injury law. This was his very first real taste of learning how to help
others in need which he continues to be passionate about today as a
practicing injury trial attorney.
After obtaining his degree from UTA, Mr. Rosas went on to earn his Doctor of
Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law-Houston in 2002, he
was a member of the Hispanic Student Law Association in which he
advocated for and focused on Hispanic issues that affected the Hispanic
student body community and law students in general while at the same time
working with the law school’s administration.
Prior to joining John K. Zaid & Associates, Mr. Rosas has more than 20 years
of personal injury experience in complex tort, general casualty and trucking
and transportation in Federal and State Court on both sides of the coin-
representing plaintiffs in first and third party insurance claims from personal
injuries, automobile accidents, commercial 18-wheeler & trucking accidents,
construction defects, products liability, premises liability, commercial liability
against insurance companies and has had the unique opportunity to defend
insurance companies in these same areas of law gaining valuable knowledge
that allows him to effectively advocate and win for his clients. In addition, to
working for both the plaintiff and the defense sides over the years, Mr. Rosas
is also a certified mediator and has used his mediation skills to settle a
number of complex and highly litigated cases. Having both philosophies
under his belt, that is, knowing when to settle and cut your losses and
knowing when to fight at all costs because an injustice will prevail if you
don’t, makes him a better attorney who understands his client’s expectations
at the same time not forgetting the overall reality of the personal and
monetary cost of litigating their case.
In his spare time Arthur enjoys spending time with his two daughters and
their dog Pumpkin. He also likes to read and play golf, try new restaurants
and spend time with friends and family on the weekends and travel. He is
also a huge Houston Sports fan.
