Danielle Garcia grew up in Mercedes, Texas, a rural community located in the Rio Grande Valley. At an early age, Ms. Garcia realized that she wanted to become an attorney. Growing up along the Texas/Mexico border and a daughter of a Mexican American immigrant, immigration issues/concerns permeated the lives of family and friends. It has been her long held desire to assist people like her father, family members and friends to realize the American dream, the dream of opportunity.
Ms. Garcia graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and minor in Business Administration. Ms. Garcia received her Juris Doctors degree from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude. While at Thurgood Marshall Law School, she earned the distinction of Dean’s List, was a tutor for various classes and became the Executive Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review.
Ms. Garcia was admitted to the Texas Bar as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Ms. Garcia is also a member of Houston Young Lawyer’s Association. Prior to joining John K. Zaid & Associates Person Injury Law Firm, Ms. Garcia gained valuable legal experience as an associate attorney at immigration, family, and personal injury law firms.
In her spare time, Ms. Garcia enjoys going to gym, spending time with family and friends and always willing to try new restaurants and coffee shops.
