Matt Menter
Matthew was born and raised in Pearland, Texas, where he graduated from Pearland High School. Following High School, Matthew moved to San Antonio where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While attending UTSA, he discovered his passion for the law in the School’s Summer Law School preparatory academy where he received several scholarships to attend law school.
Matthew decided to return home and attend South Texas College of Law in downtown Houston. In his time at South Texas, he excelled academically, became a member of The South Texas Law Review, and participated in the prestigious South Texas Advocacy program, through which he attended many national Moot Court competitions and received several awards, including a Best Brief award.
Matthew began his practice as a personal injury trial attorney. He considers himself privileged to fight for the under served and underrepresented. He believes that everyone deserves the same thorough and diligent representation that insurance companies are willing to pay for. Matthew loves the courtroom, and he has passionately fought for many substantial jury verdicts when insurance companies were not willing to fairly compensate his injured clients. He also has experience defending those verdicts on appeal.
Outside of the office, Matthew can usually be found cheering for his favorite Houston sports teams, going to concerts, and spending time with his friends and family.
